This can be through sharing their thoughts, presenting a solution, or any other form of active participation. By giving each pupil a chance to “show,” it ensures that everyone is involved in the learning process.

The “No Opt Out” principle reinforces the idea that there is no option to disengage. If a pupil is unsure or hesitant, instead of allowing them to opt out, the strategy encourages scaffolded support.
